Anthropology and Modern and Classical Languages

Kristina Frandson recently finished her master’s program in Human Osteoarchaeology at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She greatly enjoys studying human bones in an archaeological context. For her dissertation, Frandson reconstructed the face of an executed criminal based on fragments from his skull. Frandson says her time at Franciscan gave her a solid foundation to complete her graduate studies. As a student, she curated the University’s collection of ancient Greek and Roman coins and participated in the Explorers of the Past club.
